Being a National Park, everyone can come here and access the trails for free!
Brockenhurst is on a main train line London with over 100 stopping trains each day.
Our cycling centre is based at the train station with the trails starting only 400m away!
We have over 100 miles of off-road cycling in the New Forest. You don’t really need a mountain-bike as the area is relatively
flat and the trails are compacted gravel, well drained and not muddy. You often need to cycle on a forest lane to connect some
of the trails but traffic is restricted to 40mph to protect the animals which have the right to roam and can often be
found standing in the road holding up traffic…the wariness of the New Forest car driver makes the New Forest roads much safer for cyclists!
We have designed 16 off-road routes to your maximise enjoyment and safety cycling in the New Forest.
When you rent a bike, we give you a free map, or you can buy a selection of maps if visiting on your own bikes.
If renting, we can also offer you a limited selection of Garmin GPS units loaned to us from the National Park Authority*
